SLC Property has been instructed to provide a strategic review of the property portfolio, including a review of all leases, strategy for lease renewals moving forward and advice on incorporating property matters into their general procurement procedure.
Services provided
- A severe shortage of qualified signalling contractors meant that the entire project risked being delayed beyond what was acceptable to the council and its funding partners.
- Advice on property matters, including lease renewals, property strategy, board report and database of leases / terms.
- Ongoing negotiations with Network Rail and Private Landlords on negotiating terms for lease renewals.
